Election 2010
GlobeCast Australia is on full alert as the Federal Election campaign continues, with daily satellite and fibre delivery of key events. The 24/7 Bookings team is working with broadcasters to assist delivery of material from around the country, including live to air, and plans are well underway for deployment of multiple DSNG on Election Night to provide live and up to minute coverage as Australia Decides. All transmissions are monitored in our State of the Art 24/7/365 Broadcast Centre, which uses GlobeCast Australia’s enviable global network of satellites and fibres.

Over the past year, GlobeCast Australia, this region’s major provider of broadcast content distribution services, was also busy moving pictures of Wimbledon, the AFL, NRL, Rugby Internationals, US Golf, local and international news, private TV channels for corporations, and multi-cultural TV channels. “International and local broadcasters have made GlobeCast Australia their gateway for moving content into the southern hemisphere, and for moving content inside this region and out to the rest of the world, mostly live,” says GlobeCast Australia’s CEO Mike Lattin.
