GlobeCast Australia is pleased to be working with CinemaLive to help businesspeople around Australia improve their performance. For several years, GlobeCast Australia has built on a strong history of delivering live on to the big screen, including arts performances produced by the ABC and 3D events to Event Cinemas. Business TV has also been a growth activity for GlobeCast Australia, with services as varied as its clients’ needs including channels, scheduled programs and ad hoc feeds between cities and events. This latest project is the perfect convergence of delivery to cinemas and Business TV. CinemaLive has announced it is working with Channel Seven’s top rating small business show, Kochie’s Business Builders (KBB) to deliver a series of Small Business Satellite Events live into cinema venues across regional and rural Australia. The first in a series of planned events is “Making Money Work” which will be screened in participating cinemas live via satellite on Wednesday October 27 2010 at 11am AEDT. David Koch and his panel of small business experts will deliver inspiring and thought provoking live sessions on how to build and grow successful businesses. Making Money Work is a 1.5 hour session which will focus on growing a business and personal wealth; and will provide tips and advice on how to make money work harder.

The biggest Australian companies trust GlobeCast Australia with their important live events in 2010. In May, we delivered coverage of the Federal Budget for two of the Big 4 Australian banks. ANZ did a five city live hook up with interaction between Sydney and Melbourne on Budget Night; while NAB broadcast a Budget Breakfast to its network of branches nationwide. GlobeCast Australia was also chosen for the second year in a row to deliver the Lihir Gold AGM coverage live from Port Moresby. During Australia’s Annual General Meeting season from October to December 2009 and 2010, major companies using GlobeCast Australia’s broadcast services included: Telstra, BHP, NIB, Bendigo Bank, Westpac and National Australia Bank, to name a few.

GlobeCast Australia is leading global delivery of major events, live on to cinema screens. GlobeCast Australia successfully concluded a major delivery deal with Event Cinemas that delighted audiences with 3D HD coverage of more than a dozen sporting events in June and July 2010. In a first for Australian cinema audiences, the cinema chain screened at selected locations nationally HD 3D coverage of 15 games from the FIFA World Cup (tm) in South Africa; and exclusively, two State of Origin Rugby League showdowns in HD 3D.

Program your own corporate television network to deliver on-going sales training, seminars and other daily communications to employees and business hubs worldwide. Our mobile broadcasting and satellite resources let you extend the impact of your corporate events to reach your employees and invited participants anywhere in the world via television and web cast delivery. More Australian companies are turning to GlobeCast Australia to communicate with their employees through video transmission of important news, conferences and seminars.
MORE Australian banks are turning to TV to communicate to their customers, although not in the traditional sense. While the National Australia and Commonwealth Banks have had their own internal TV stations for years, their rivals are now adopting similar strategies. GlobeCast Australia commercial manager John Graham said the broadcasting services business was now helping each of the four major banks broadcast to their customers. "Quite clearly it's become a discrete activity as the clients are corporate as opposed to our usual broadcast clients," he said.

GlobeCast Australia’s Business Transmission services are being used to deliver customised radio to shoppers across Australia. GlobeCast Australia has over 25 Radio Channels already currently operating on its various platforms, and various Business TV services, along with its 120-plus Direct to Home Satellite TV services across Australia and New Zealand. From October 2009, it’s added two new radio broadcast channels - for one of the biggest retail groups operating in Australia, K-mart - which will play in approximately 180 stores across Australia.

GlobeCast Australia’s international connectivity and expertise is being used more and more by major companies to spread their messages worldwide. In Melbourne during Formula One Week, GlobeCast Australia established a DSNG link and live camera on set for driver superstar Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton was beamed to the northern hemisphere live, to support his sponsor Tag Heuer at one of its most important marketing days of the year. From Australia, Tag Heuer projected the driver on to a big screen, live, at the World Watch and Jewellery Show in Basel, Switzerland.

Our global distribution with surgical precision continues to enhance medical conferences in 2010. GlobeCast Australia is the leading supplier of live transmission technology to cutting edge medical conventions. In May 2010, our satellite fleet and capacity was used to connect five hospitals live to a major convention at Penrith Convention Centre in Sydney. Eminent medical personnel from Australia, India and Germany watched live hip and knee surgeries from Nepean Private, Norwest Private, Prince of Wales, St Luke’s Private and St Vincent’s Private Hospitals.

Tourism Queensland's Best Job in The World truly did “Reach the World” with GlobeCast Australia as the exclusive satellite uplink distributer globally. GlobeCast Australia summarises the reach of the broadcast coverage as 100 interviews, live crosses and tape feeds to 10 countries in 3 days. There were live and tape unilateral needs for broadcasters from visiting countries including France, Singapore and Canada. Australian broadcasters taking unilateral feeds and conducting lives included Australia’s Sky News Australia, SBS, 7, 9 and 10 Networks.

GlobeCast Australia works with all four of the Big Four Australian Banks, and also many major companies including Lihir Gold. Clients needs range from full time channels, to scheduled programs to coverage of events such as annual general meetings. In 2010, more companies are choosing these technical solutions as a cheaper and highly effective alternative to road shows or national conferences.

Fresh from the successful Lihir broadcast, the GlobeCast Australia team deployed to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth for a 5-City Live Satellite Hook Up for Top Four Bank ANZ’s Budget Night Dinner and Analysis, at major hotels. ANZ CEO Brian Hartzer noted it was “cutting edge” to be live via satellite to key ANZ clients at dinners in five cities. All feeds were monitored by GlobeCast Australia’s 24/7/365 Master Control and Teleport. They’re practised eyes and ears. In 2008, the facility moved more than one million hours of content.
