TELEVISION MCR OPERATOR

GlobeCast Australia operates the busiest independent Master Control Room in Australia servicing the video signal contribution and distribution needs, whether by satellite or optic fibre, of all Australian Networks and International Broadcasters.
GlobeCast Australia has a vacancy for an experienced MCR operator to join the MCR team at its Sydney CBD location and participate in the exhilarating growth of this sector of the Television Broadcasting industry. Applicant for this position will need to have previous experience in a MCR either within Australia or overseas.
Applicant also need to be knowledgeable of current digital video techniques, fibre and satellite transmissions and signal routing as GlobeCast Australia’s major teleport is remotely controlled by this Master Control Room. The successful applicant will enjoy an attractive salary and an exciting working environment and will work to a cycling roster.

In addition, the company is well established as a direct-to-home television program provider of over 100 services.
A vacancy for a motivated Broadcast Engineer exists in our Broadcast Control Centre situated in the Sydney CBD.
The ideal candidate will have an Engineering background, obtained in the Broadcast Industry, and will have had several years' experience working with equipment used to broadcast services via satellite and fibre. Hands on experience of digital transmission systems ranging from video and audio compression equipment, multiplexing and SDI is a requirement, as is the ability to work efficiently within a team of engineers and the Operations Department.

DSNG ENGINEER

GlobeCast Australia is the leading provider of professional satellite and broadcast services in Australasia. Our fleet of mobile satellite uplink terminals operates from GlobeCast Australia’s Headquarters in Sydney.
GlobeCast Australia is seeking to recruit an experienced DSNG (Digital Satellite News Gathering) engineer to supplement existing staff in the deployment and operation of our mobile satellite facilities.
Applicants must have extensive experience in the field of satellite broadcasting, as related to DSNG applications, with a comprehensive knowledge of television broadcast and operation standards. Experience in the operation and maintenance of land transport and ‘fly-away’ satellite systems is essential.
An attractive remuneration package is offered commensurate with the successful applicant’s experience and capabilities. Applications will be treated in strictest confidence.
