GlobeCast Australia’s satellite engineers and its GlobeCam miniature camera unit are at the forefront of V8 Supercars Coverage in 2010. V8 2010 has been a hot contest, from the opening two rounds in the Middle East – Abu Dhabi and Bahrain – to New Zealand in April and the various Australian rounds leading up to yet another superb Bathurst showdown in October. With Team Vodafone racing Holden instead of Ford, leaving only three teams to run Fords, it’s a whole new race in 2010! And watch out for various GlobeCam innovations throughout the year, bringing even more camera angles and tricks to the live broadcasts. For the second year in a row, the series will once again culminate with a weekend of racing at Sydney’s Olympic Park Homebush street circuit, the first weekend in December 2010. V8 Supercars screen live on Australia’s Seven Network, New Zealand’s TV3, and to networks in Europe, the Middle East and America, via GlobeCast Australia’s global fibre and satellite network.
